In society, it is very hard for anyone to rise above all, especially in the music biz. To make such an influence and to be seen as “out of the ordinary” is truly an accomplishment. Johnny Cash was one of the most influential country artist and songwriter known to man. What made Johnny Cash so “different” was his style of music. He changed to what country music was supposed to sound like and made it into his own. He had more of a gothic approach with his music and at that time, was very hard to pull off. Through his music he addressed matters of loneliness, depression, love, and hope. He truly was a man of his work.
